How This Works
1
Identify a need
If you or someone you
know uses a wheelchair
and is struggling with
substance use, they
may qualify for
Able Place Recovery.

2
Make a Referral or
Get Involved
Families, professionals,
and advocates can refer
individuals directly or
connect with us to
learn more.

3
We Review and
Coordinate Care
Our team reviews each
referral to ensure the
individual is appropriate
for our program and that
we can support their
recovery safely.

4
Access to
Purpose-Built Recovery
When accepted, individuals
enter a fully accessible
recovery environment
designed specifically
for wheelchair users.

All referrals are reviewed to ensure safety, appropriateness and long term recovery support.
Refer a Person in Need
Because Able Place Recovery is being built from the ground up for wheelchair users, costs go beyond standard treatment models. Able Place Recovery was created to provide:
Wheelchair accessible living spaces
Safe, functional bedrooms and bathrooms
Specialized equipment and furnishings
Support individuals with limited financial resources
